Coke & Sympathy

Chattel forget I'm a rockstar. A reminder's all they need. Went too far with lines on the bar and they asked us kind to leave. When we refused they got forceful. They put their hands on me. Crawled back home to change my clothes, get some coke and some sympathy. Some people think that it's sickening. Some say we're out of line. But most folks know that rock and roll is all just a waste of time. Think I should stick to my day job. I'm not no good it seems. But they all know that I'm unemployed so I'm not sure what that means?

Ran out of expletives to throw. We let diseases take control. We scraped the resin from the bowl. We sold our souls for rock and roll. You'd think that we'd have more to show. But, we don't. No, we don't. But, we don't. No, we don't. We could just let it be the same. Just snort more pills and masturbate then hang ourselves in the garage. But, we don't. No, we don't. But, we don't. No, we don't. We could pretend we're someone new. Use all our lies to build a truth. Use folks with conscience like they're fools. But, we don't. No, we don't. But, we don't. No, we don't.
